Steve Jobs Introduces Apple’s iPad 2
Apple CEO Steve Jobs surprised and delighted the audience at the Yerba Buena Center for Arts in San Francisco today to unveil the iPad 2. The second-generation iPad comes in white and black and is thinner and lighter at 8.8mm (old iPad has a 13.4mm thickness). Apple also designed a new iPad smart cover that attaches to the iPad magnetically and can be flipped open to transform into an iPad stand. The new iPad has the same price points but is twice as fast and has a dual-core A5 chip. The iPad 2 also has both front and back cameras.

New iPhone 4 On Verizon Will Need New Design For Cases
The Apple iPhone 4 will be available on Verizon February 10. According to Engadget, the location of the mute button on Verizon iPhone 4 has shifted down a tiny notch, which means it will affect some existing iPhone 4 cases. Apparently the Apple store has already introduced a modified, universal design for its iPhone 4 bumpers. The cutout for the mute button is larger to fit both AT&T and Verizon iPhones. This is something to keep in mind when you shop for a new iPhone case.

The Biggest Apple Store In The World Opens In London
Apple opened its biggest store in the world this week in Covent Garden, London. Staffed by 300 employees, the store houses every Apple product currently available.
